ramble ramble ramble, not much!

It has been a while since writing last.  Much has happened.  My hotmail account was apparently hacked and I can no longer use it.  UGH!  I lost all of my contacts to the blog although many of my contacts were duplicated on the gmail account so all was not lost.  Just an inconvenience for those who were only on the hotmail list.
Bonnie has made her final departure from Incheon airport and has arrived in Kansas City to begin a new life for us, I assume.  Her trip was not without adventure.  Upon arriving in KC she and Joel encountered a bad storm that made them sit in the parking lot for a time waiting for power to come back on so the gate would open.  (You have to love electronic progress).  Nothing like being stranded at midnight because a gate won't open.  Oh well, home at last.
So I am here alone in Korea fending for myself.  At least the sun is out and the rainy season may be over.  I have not used the AC for 2 days now and love it! It is only 85 today.
People worry about my being alone.  So do I!  But I mangage.  I am reading with my Kindall (at least it doesn't strand me in airport parking lots when the electricity goes out).  I am finishing  "The Woman in White" written by my new found 19th century author Wilkie Collins. (yes, I am slow finding these authors). I discovered him by mere chance.  I was in Singapore getting ready to fly to Vietnam with no book to keep me company since Bonnie was keeping MY kindall.  I saw "The Moonstone" and bought it because it was cheap, about $5.00.  That was my only reason, the low cost.  I read it and got hooked on Collins.
I also checked out a Disney video from our library, "Rapunzel" (probably bad spelling).  I had never read or saw the story.  I know, I am very deprived. It was probably considered an evil book in my childhood.  Who knows?  Magical hair that glows and heals.  There can't be anything more evil than that!
I watched the video 3 times.  I guess I am still a child.  The horse is my favorite character, just in case you are interested, and if you are not, the horse is still my favorite character.  His expressions are hilariuos.  I was so dissappointed when someone told me he wasn't real.  Darn it!
I think I am supposed to be getting ready for my classes that begin next week, but what is the hurry?  I am having too much fun reading and watching horses to be concerned about English lessons.
Now if I can ever figure out Lord of the Rings I think I may be getting educated in movies.  I asked my daughter Jennifer for help since I have no idea what is going on in the movie. I think she will come through for me to help me with some tid bits of movie sense.  If not, I can always turn it in and check out Star Trek, whatever that is.
Was my title appropriate or what?

Rambling can be informative. Glad you liked the movie and found a new author. -- Bonnie
